What We Offer:

  • $18.00 per hour
  • 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 3rd shift, Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

What We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required)
  • Forklift certified, or the ability to obtain certification
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees and the general public
  • Capacity to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and draw/interpret bar graphs
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to resolve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Effective time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
  • Solid skills in developing and maintaining awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions, and following safety practices and recognizing hazards
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks while standing and/or walking for the duration of the shift, bending, stooping, wearing PPE, climbing/balancing, working on elevated platforms, demonstrating manual dexterity, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed

What You’ll Do As A Machine Operator:

  • Read and review set up sheets
  • Obtain materials, dies, and reels needed for production
  • Operate production machinery in accordance with SMI and process sheet instructions
  • Perform OSI inspections
  • Complete test reports, print labels, and record other documentation, as required
  • Maintain balances and production reports
  • Cross train to run core machinery in the assigned manufacturing area
  • Maintain cleanliness of the department, machinery, and workstation
  • Comply with special instructions, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
