As an Operator, you will play a critical role in helping DS Smith build a more sustainable world. Our Lebanon, Indiana plant is a brand new, state-of-the-art corrugated box manufacturing facility. We redefine Packaging for a changing world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating equipment to ensure production of a quality product
- Loading and unloading items from machines
- Examining products to ensure conformance to quality standards
- Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in the work area
- Performing general cleanup and maintenance of work area
- Troubleshoot and make any necessary adjustments to machinery
- Complete projects within the required timeframes
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Math and reasoning skills as well as proven problem-solving skills
- Able to adapt to various temperatures in the plant
- Flexibility to adjust job duties according to plant needs
- Effective communication skills including the ability to create and maintain productive working relationships
