Job Summary
Pusterla US in Oneonta NY is looking for machine operators to run paperboard packaging prep and manufacturing equipment, making luxury boxes.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Keep machines running at production standard speeds to produce quality boxes.
- Feed paperboard materials into machine, set and maintain parameters including detail measurements, monitor rates and output, make adjustments and minor repairs to ensure machine runs smoothly.
- Growth opportunity: learn to set up machines and conduct preventative maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good troubleshooting and decision-making ability
- Basic math skills including reading a ruler
- Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, stand, and climb stairs
- Ability to use hand tools, gauges, electrical testing devices
- Comfort level working without close supervision
- Safety, quality, and waste awareness
- Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
- Positive attitude and interest in growth
- Desired: knowledge of paper, paperboard, adhesives, and packaging
Benefits
The role is a full-time position with benefits including health care and 401(k) match. We offer paid vacation as well as holidays. Salary commensurate with experience. 1st shift runs 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thursday with overtime opportunities some Fridays.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
