The Robert C. Byrd Clinic, on the campus of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or CCMA) for our family practice department.
Position Summary:
Perform all patient care functions within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant in the clinic setting.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience as an licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant in a primary care clinic setting (highly preferred)
  • Strong computer skills, preferably with experience on an Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid West Virginia LPN License or national certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcare Association (NHA).
  • Current BLS Certification
