Major Responsibilities


  • Provide clerical support to LPAC Compliance Coordinator.
  • Conduct audits of campus LPAC documents in the students’ records such as, but not limited to: Home Language Survey, Bilingual/ESL/ Dual Language Permission Letter, student assessment data, monitoring forms and end of year review documentation.
  • Collaborate with District and campus PEIMS Clerk to ensure accurate coding of English Language Learner students.
  • Collaborate with campus administration to verify PEIMS ELL coding with campus administration, as assigned.
  • Follow processes in accordance with the LPAC manual for identification, placement, and review of all EB students, within PEIMS and District timelines.
  • Serve as a District-level liaison between the District and parents of EB students.
  • Assist Director, or collaborate with other District personnel and departments to prepare for meetings and presentations for parents of EB students individually.
  • Attend mandatory staff development activities, as needed, to perform job functions and improve performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and email
  • Strong organization, communication and public relations, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to maintain emotional control under stress. Occasionally required to travel to facilities within the district. May be required to work after school and weekends.
