AdaptToSolve, Inc. is looking for a strong Team Member for the position of Low Voltage Technician for Augusta Ga area. Installation and Service of large system surveillance (CCTV), Access Control, Fire/Security systems, networking as well as data cabling and Fiber. A candidate should have the ability to diagnose and correct issues in the field. Candidates should have the ability to operate the different software associated with the products we install and maintain.

Due to the nature of our business, we are mostly inside of schools, hospitals, psych wards, prisons/jails, other govt agencies, it is imperative that we follow the following guidelines when selecting candidates.

• Excellent background (no felonies, no more than 2 misdemeanors non-violent, theft or drug related.
• Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
• Clean MVR
• Must have proof of high school diploma/GED and proof of any certifications
• Must be verified to work

Candidate should have at least 2-4 years of experience

Certification not required but is a plus

Summary/Objective
The Technician performs cabling (data, fiber, and fire), installs, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs CCTV equipment/software, Access Control equipment/software, fire alarm equipment. The position applies the knowledge of low voltage electronics across multiple platforms and the ability to adapt to different scenarios to provide a professional solution and product to our customers. The Technician provides skilled installation and support across our product line.
Essential Functions

• Perform cabling and data drops using maps and diagrams. Be able to instruct helpers on the proper way to complete these tasks as well.
• Install Hardware in appropriate locations using maps and customer input. Have knowledge to make appropriate suggestions if customer asks for input.
• Ensure installs are visibly neat and professional. Ensure they do not interfere with other systems.
• Be able to program hardware using appropriate software. Assign IPs to cameras, name, focus and provide this information to customer..
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct issues in the field.
• Maintain Company required safety, inventory, and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines and fostering a safety conscious work environment with peers.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Ability to perform work efficiently with professional quality and customer service.

Work Environment
Will work in various commercial, industrial, school, and government settings. Work will be a mixture of inside and outside. Will require work on lifts, ladders, ceilings, roofs, etc. The position is very active and will require walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Will occasionally move and lift items over 50 pounds.
