SUMMARY

The Master Scheduler maintains the master production schedule and detailed production schedule within a Just-In-Time environment. Serve as primary facilitator of information between Manufacturing and Customer Service. Utilize SAP System to evaluate production requirements. Administer twelve-month rolling sales forecast.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide weekly manufacturing schedule to manufacturing departments and update on a daily basis/by shift if necessary.

2. Act as information resource between Customer Service and Manufacturing departments.

3. Serve as a substitute customer service representative.

4. Maintain and monitor 12-month rolling sales forecast by item. Load forecast via SUP. Make analysis of a realistic forecast for a proper material planning.

5. Regulate WIP and FG inventory of manufactured parts. Advise adjustments, implement corrective actions to reduce WIP inaccuracy.

6. Perform job and other related activities as specified by all QS-9000 procedures.

7. Set up production control systems for the automotive industry. Check with manufacturing and logistics the daily/weekly/monthly results.

8. Assist with projects involving inventory reporting and accuracy.

9. Generate production reports for other operation departments/logistics departments.

10. Must have experience with sequencing.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing desired.
  • Past EDI experience is desired.
  • 3-5 years in Logistics/Master Scheduling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP (minimum of 2 years)
  • CPIM desirable.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software.
  • High flexibility

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must be fluent in English. Working-level second language skills is a plus. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and directors, and to present to groups of customers or employees of the organization. Values and considers the perspectives and backgrounds of all parties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
