SUMMARY
To be responsible for the administration and monitoring budget/KPI for US region of North America International logistics operation center; team building, management, assessment and echelon training & guide for US region of North America International logistics operation center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the International Logistics operation management for pass through parts to US region, including customer service(Order management and delivery), material planning, In-house WH daily operation mangement, and 3rd party WH LSP management
- Responsbile for customer order receiving and delivery, and the coordination with customer for delivery issues for US region.
- Management of the supplier KPI evaluation from customer to Minth, to fulfill customer satisfaction; Establish and keep good relationship with customer logistics department(especailly for logistics requirement department)and smooth communication
- In-house WH operation management of pass through parts in US region, including the warehouse layout design and implementation, new project warehousing implementation; daily operation for pass through WH including inbound, storage, repacking and outbound; Daily transaction management and cycle count mangement, to ensure the accounting cooresponding to the physical stocks; Customer POD management; Nok parts diposition per the indication from quality department
- Responsible for the 3rd party WH LSP management for US pass through parts, including warehousing fee budget, payment management,accounting checking, LSP performance evaluation and yearly audit
- Coordinate the material planning of the pass through products with supplier plants(China, Thailand,etc.), and monitor the delivery from China and Thailand to ensure the reasonable safety sotck in the warehouse
- Tracking the pass through products and coordinate the arrival of the products per the requirement from customer release for US pass through parts
- Import & Export customs and transportation management for US region
- Responsible for import&export related transportation management for NA region, including planning of the trucks from port/Yard to the plant(including 3rd party WH), and the transportation with Mexico, Canada, etc.
- Administration of the Control of certificates of origin for clients and suppliers
- Good understanding of Legal regulations for compliance and policy changes in US and other related overseas countries; keep good communication and cooperation with related government departments of local country and DDP destination countries
- Responsible for customs and trading compliance and risk control for US region; warehousing cost planning, control and reduce the abnormal expenses in US region;
- Database & Document: Manage and update the export-and-import ledger and logistics related base sheets etc. (including, but not limited to : HS code of imported products, import duty rate, supervision condition)
- Establish and optimize the process of delivery planniing of pass through parts, warehousing, import & export related customs and transportation;
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Completed Bachelor's degree in International trade, International business, International logistics or
- At least 8 years working experience in overseas logistics, of which more than 2 years experience in the automotive part industry and must have customer order and delivery management, overseas transit warehouse management experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizing, coordination, communication, optional solutions providing and problem-solving ability
- Convey positive energy, listen patiently
- Cross-culture communication skills and teamwork spirit
- Great risk control ability
- Stress resistance ability and interpersonal skills, and can wisely deal with setbacks
- Show effective leadership to train, guide, encourage and lead the team to accomplish the goal excellently
- International Trade, Logistics, transportation, warehousing and Customs compliance knowledge
- Well known about warehouse planning, operation, and WMS system principle
- Well known about procurement of the logistics(warehousing, transportation) and the LSP management, strong negotiation skills with suppliers
- Good understanding of logistics requirements from automotive industry customers, especially from USA/EU OEM, e.g. MMOG/LE International financial and tax knowledge
- Good sense for systematic thinking and global thinking, be meticulous and considerate for work.
- Good global organizing, coordination, optional solutions providing and problem-solving ability
- Good sense for setting up and optimizing the procedure to improve the work efficiency
- Cross-culture communication skills, coordination ability and teamwork spirit
- Good skills in using ERP-SAP, Office software and other IT software (e.g. PPT, function)
