The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the national and international freight processes for all of MAPCO shipments by providing accurate freight quotes and ensuring accurate data is entered into appropriate systems. This position is also responsible for controlling freight costs through HTS code management and following NFMC standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities: Data entry support in Syspro, produce, maintain and assist with freight quotes, work direct with carriers, responsible for freight claims and related reports, and manage employer freight carrier HTS codes and following NFMC standards and regulations.

The hiring range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00 depending on experience.

What will you be doing for us?
Provide Accurate Freight Quotes 35%

• Calculate accurate freight for each order

• Coordinate with sales the trailer load and custom roll out order quotes

Data Entry and Reconcilliation 30%

• Reconcile freight billing to ensure correct billing from each carrier.

• Review shipping data ensuring the information is accurate and complete.

• Resolves all errors in freight bill with carriers promptly.

• Manages freight claim process ensuring all issues and claims are resolved promptly.

Internal and External Customer Service 15%

• Effectively manage freight vendor pick up and freight vendor relationships.

• Assists and answers questions from different departments regarding the shipping and distribution of products.

Freight Cost Management 10%

• Participate and manage ERA freight negotiations and carrier selections process.

• Assists with the implementation of process improvement initiatives.

• Balance freight carrier selection based on meeting the needs of the customer and what is financially responsible for the company.

• Manage vendor tariff codes and ensure accurate tariff for national and international freight.

International Freight Management 10%

• Maintain all USMCA information is accurate in internal systems and with all OEM and direct accounts.

• Maintain and manage HTS ensuring US Customs delays are avoided.
