Our rapidly expanding technology company is looking for an excellent and reliable Logistics Associate to join our team. The Logistics Associate will be responsible for the intra-city transportation of products, as well as inventory organization, stock rotation, and order fulfillment. Our company is looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to multitask effectively and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate the movement of products and freight through an organization or company.
- Transport large orders of goods by land, air, or water.
- Write purchase orders for goods and services needed for delivery.
- Purchase materials needed for deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that deliveries are not delayed.
- Ensure that shipments are delivered on time.
- Communicate with trucking companies, airline companies, and other transportation companies.
- Negotiate with vendors to get the best price on the goods and services needed for the delivery.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
