Westview Financial Services, located in Yorktown, VA has a full-time position available for a Loan Officer. We are seeking energetic, hardworking individuals to join our team! As a Loan Officer, you will have the opportunity to work together with clients, overseeing the loan process from origination to close and provide continued support to our clients throughout the duration of a loan.

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience directly related in a similar industry or 2+ years in a customer service industry
• Strong customer service skills and results oriented
• Self-motivated and able to function in a team atmosphere
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail and prioritize job responsibilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Employee will have access to personal identifiable information (PII) and business confidential information
• Solicit individuals who visit the office and call current and former customers
• Generate and process loan applications and make recommendations based on credit worthiness; review approvals, process loan closings and sell insurance products
• Assist customers with account inquiries and activities
• Administrative duties: greet customers, answer phones, process payments and prepare files and reports
• Collect delinquent accounts
• Assist in the legal process with preparing court documents
• Other duties as assigned

The standard hours for this position are: Monday and Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Tuesday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Westview Financial Services offers a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:

• 40 vacation hours after 6 months of employment, 80 vacation hours after 1 year of employment
