Line Cook Job at Birch Hill Catering
Birch Hill Catering in Castleton On Hudson, NY is looking for multiple line cook to join our 26 person strong team. We are located on 1 Celebration Way. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, hard-working and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
-
*Knife skills, chopping, cutting of fresh vegetables and proteins. Preparation of meats, sauces and sides in accordance with event menu and client preference *Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff *Clean up station and take care of leftover food ensuring food safety and product cost *Proper storage and rotation of food inventory at all times
Qualifications

*Cooking and or other relevant food service experience is preferred *Reliable workplace attendance, effective communication in regards to scheduling *Availability for overtime during high volume weeks, with flexibility during the weekdays/off season *Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs *Strong attention to detail and interest in organization

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.50 - $21.00/hour.
