Lighting Etc., Inc. is a privately owned, manufacturing company that has an exciting opportunity for Lighting Assembly Technicians who desire to play an instrumental role in a established LED luminaire assembly operation. This position is responsible for assembling LED luminaires in accordance with work instructions and customer specifications. This position reports to assembly line lead operators under the direction of the production supervisor. Requirements: Essential Functions: * Follow all health and safety policies and practices, including the proper wear of PPE, to support a safe work environment. * Follow work instructions to properly and safely build LED Luminaires. * Strive to achieve product quality, seeking first time pass on all assembled fixtures. * Advise supervisor of line or production needs. * Work on assigned position on assembly line or as assigned to other needs in the manufacturing plant. * Work with hands and be able to lift up to 45 pounds and stand throughout an entire shift. * Ability to operate hand tools, follow instructions, read written documents, and inspect product in accordance with customer specifications. Minimum Qualifications: * Prior electrical assembly is desired, but not required. * Desire to learn and grow skill set to be a productive member of the team. * Previous experience using hand tools is preferred. * Ability to read and follow work instructions. * Technical orientation with the ability to analyze complex problems and formulate solutions. * Willingness to be a productive member of a team. * Commitment to being a reliable and dependable member of the team with good attendance.
