About Snowbird
Snowbird is a world-renowned ski and summer resort just 6 miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon. What You’ll Do
As a member of the Digging Crew at Snowbird you'll be removing snow from around the Mountain Coaster and other resort equipment. You should have knowledge of how to run a snow blower.
- Performs snow removal around Mountain Coaster and other equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Interactions
- Occasional contact with guests.
- Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
Skills & Knowledge
Technical:
Requires a working mechanical knowledge. May be required to operate snowblowers.
Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
1. Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.
Mental:
1. May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.

Physical:
1. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
2. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
3. Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
4. Work is outdoors and requires constant exposure to cold and other extreme weather conditions.
5. Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
