Licensed Psychiatric Technician Per Diem - RUHS Arlington Campus (Riverside) Job at County of Riverside
The Riverside University Health Center is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team. Under general supervision, in a Per Diem employment capacity, to provide general and psychiatric nursing care to mentally ill, emotionally disturbed, and developmentally disabled patients; to participate in the overall psychiatric treatment program; and to do other work as required.
This class is characterized by being directly responsible for the observation and recognition of symptoms and reactions which require understanding of cause and effect in the care of mentally ill, emotionally disturbed, and developmentally disabled patients. Per Diem personnel are distinguished from regular employees in that they receive additional compensation in lieu of County fringe benefits, and work assignments are flexibly scheduled or on an on-call basis. The psychiatric technician operates at a level which involves direct responsibility for the performance of specific therapeutic services.
Work schedule: 12 hour shifts, Day and Night shift available, 5 days per month.
