On Demand Labor Pool (ODLP) General Labor
General Summary:
The ODLP General Labor position monitors cheese quality, adding back and/or bulking off cheese, inspection of product for extraneous, and assisting operators.
At Leprino Foods, strating compensation for this role is $22.00.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor product and product packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
- Responsible for the operation of the processing conveyors in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
- Responsible for inspecting product to ensure quality
- Perform housekeeping and other daily duties as required.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, Leads, Supervisors and Managers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
- Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices.
- Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Able to work Weekends, Swing and Overnight shifts.
- Must include a resume with application
Preferred:
- Ability to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions and make adjustments or corrective action as necessary.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Starting Pay: $22.00/hr
Must be able to work Swing shift 2:00pm to 10:30 pm and Night Shift 10:00pm to 6:30am.
