Job Description: Pure Green Farms is currently seeking a First Shift Lettuce Packing Team Member I who is responsible to perform general labor tasks in growing and packaging leafy greens in our indoor manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Unloading raw materials and loading finished goods

· Loading raw materials onto automated growing and packaging lines

· Case packing and palletizing

· Assist in first-line trouble shooting of machinery

· Maintain general cleanliness of all workspaces

· Maintain organization of all supplies and supply tables and cabinets

· Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Self-motivated, reliable, punctual, open-minded, and positive attitude a must

· Ability and desire to perform and complete 10-hour work shifts

· Ability to adapt and to be responsive in the face of changing and evolving order demands

· Learning and following all food safety and quality policies and procedures

· Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly

· Must have manual dexterity

· Ability to make changes as needed without advance notice

· Former work experience a plus

Working Conditions:

· Working in refrigerated warehouse for prolonged periods where temperature averages 45 degrees

· Position requires sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis for prolonged periods

· Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Education/Experience:

· Previous agricultural, warehouse, manufacturing process line or product process environment experience a plus

· Forklift operator experience/training a plus

· Passion for agriculture and/or horticulture preferred

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
