Job description
108 Tax credit community needs dependable, detailed oriented individual. Tax credit & Section 8 knowledge would be a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interviews new prospective tenants and current residents at recertification.
Processes applications, conducts credit checks and calls references, verify income and assets, schedule appointments, and answer phones.
Addresses and promptly resolves questions, requests, and complaints from tenants.
Enter service request into system. Inspects property on a regular basis to assess condition of buildings and grounds, and to ensure that empty units are ready for new tenants.
Reports any problems or issues to property manager.
Manages records and files of current tenants.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates the strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties.
Proficient in basic computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrates familiarity with ONESITE software.
Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently.
Exhibits solid communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints.
Works well with a team.
Interacts and engages in a friendly manner with potential and current tenants.
Demonstrates ability to think creatively,
Must have dependable transportation. Must pass background and drug test.
Job Type: Part-time
