Learning Experience Designer

Rexford Industrial is looking for a Learning Experience Designer with a corporate instructional design background who will bring experience creating engaging corporate education content to our organization. You will have the capability to develop web-based training for end-users and other online learning materials in partnership with the Professional Excellence Team, HR and different other partners throughout the business.

You are creative, analytical and comfortable speaking with executives, managers, colleagues and clients. The successful Learning Experience Designer will assess and document learning goals relevant to end-users and other partners, and work with the Professional Excellence team to deliver engaging training content. We are looking for someone with project management experience - organizing large projects into manageable timelines and expectations.

About The Role:

  • Collaborate with the Professional Excellence team to analyze knowledge and skill gaps of all departments.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, partners, and C-Suite to understand our needs and recommends learning solutions.
  • Develop creative learning experiences and programs, modules, and materials including: simulations, microlearning, videos, interactive digital learning (eLearning) modules, case studies, infographics, and other related deliverables.
  • Design storyboards and prototypes.
  • Partner with the LMS (Docebo) team for integration, tracking, and system reporting.
  • Evaluate learning solutions through surveys, performance data, and other relevant metrics on training effectiveness and Return on investment
  • Collaborate with the Professional Excellence team, end-users and partners across the organization to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, and Learning Technologies.

About You:

  • At least 3 years of corporate instructional design experience
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and the ADDIE model
  • Experience forming relationships with Subject Matter Experts and partners.
  • Experience developing eLearning (software training) using Articulate 360
  • Experience developing training solutions that are end-to-end from training needs analysis, to content gathering, designing, implementing, and evaluating
  • Experience developing eLearning module storyboards.
  • Develop content maps, instructor guides, participant guides, job aids, eLearning storyboards.

Rexford Industrial's reward plan includes great compensation packages, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000 with a 10% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility. The actual hourly rate and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letters.

  • These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date. Actual bonus and stock grants are discretionary based on company and/or individual performance determined by Rexford Industrial in its sole discretion, and the amount of any such bonus and/or stock grant may be less or more than the targets (and may be zero). You must remain employed through the payment date of any such bonus and/or vesting to be eligible for payment/vesting.
