Job Description Primary Purpose:
The Learning and Development Training Coordinator will assist with the successful execution of the Learning and Developments’ portfolio of leadership and development program offerings by providing a broad range of support: handling communication with participants; managing classroom logistics for all instructor-led training; taking ownership of materials, supplies, and inventory and maintenance; and other support as needed.
Principal Duties:
  • Serves as frontline resource for the Learning and Developments’ portfolio of leadership and development programs.
  • Maintains relationships with various vendors that support learning and develop programs.
  • Manages Learning and Development’s digital assets.
  • Process training room request via the online form.
  • Manges the NS Learning inbox for the Learning and Development Team.
  • Partners with the LMS Team to create program curriculums, schedule program sessions and coordinate classes for registration for targeted audiences in the LMS.
  • Coordinate participant logistics and communicates reminders and directions to participants before and after class.
  • Oversees catering set up for breakfast, lunch, and snacks (if applicable).
  • Ensures all participants have the necessary materials for classes (e.g., 7 Habits materials, DiSC assessments, Program Guides, etc.).
  • Ensures that classroom is staged and ready for training 1 day before each class (day before prep is required).
  • Assists in preparing and sending out training evaluations and compiles results in partnership with the LMS Team.
  • Orders program supplies, handles receivables, and distributes invoices accordingly.
  • Conducts an inventory review of all classroom materials and supplies, replenishing well in advance of need.
  • Consistently looks for opportunities for process improvements and to improve participant experience.
  • Serves as liaison and partner to the broader HR Employee Experience team.

Job Related Experience:
  • Minimum Level: 1 year
  • Preferred Level: 2-3 years
Education:
  • Preferred Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Majors: Training, Education or HR related field or equivalent industry experience
