Green Mountain Power is seeking a Leader of Engineering to supervise and direct the Engineering team towards a safer, more resilient, cost effective and lower carbon energy system. This position is primarily responsible for providing leadership, motivation and support for the planning, budgeting, design, permitting, and construction of transmission, distribution, and other related engineering projects. The position is also focused on continuously innovating how we serve customers and how we interconnect distributed energy resources across our system. Work is varied in nature and requires technical competence. The successful applicant will identify and seize opportunities for innovation, apply technical knowledge, coach, inspire and motivate teammates to accomplish tasks, work safely, and strategically to achieve the highest level of job performance. You will work in compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. This position requires a high degree of self-motivation, ability to listen, embrace relationships across the organization, and the ability to meet goals and deadlines.

Qualifications can include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, a registered Professional Engineer License, or multiple years of experience in Transmission, Distribution, and Generation Engineering.
