We are excited to offer full-time Lead Toddler Teacher positions in our early child care program in Concord, NH. Become part of a top-notch team as a full-time teacher at our Penacook Community Center in Concord, NH. The Eastman Early Learning Center is a relatively new and growing program that serves infants through PreK. We are opening additional classrooms, and looking for new team members. The right candidates also will be willing to work with children in our after-school program when needed.
Duties
Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma and a minimum of 18 credits in child development, early childhood or elementary education and a minimum of 1,000 hours working in a licensed program.
Additional classroom teaching experience beyond the minimum requirement is a plus.
First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Duties
- Creates an environment that facilitates the achievement of early childhood outcomes.
- Organizes and maintains a developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive learning environment; ensuring a healthy, safe, clean environment both inside and out of the facility.
- Creates a dynamic, fun, creative, and interactive classroom experience.
- Assesses members' performance and progress to ensure that they are gaining new skills on a regular basis.
- Provides guidance and role modeling to members.
- Ensures the evaluation of Club programs on a continual basis, including tracking outcome metrics; verifies that programs/activities respond to member needs and addresses their gender and cultural diversity.
- Controls program and activity expenditures within the approved budget.
- Oversees proper record keeping and weekly reporting, including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of daily participation figures, notable achievements, and any problems/issues.
- Facilitates open and effective, professional verbal and written communication with families, staff, and children.
- Supervises teacher aides in the classroom and ensures that they are following program policy and service expectations.
