In addition to being a leading provider of building and facility maintenance materials and equipment in the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) market, we provide tactical equipment to U.S. Special Operations, law enforcement and disaster response professionals, safety and security solutions in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear & Explosive (CBRNE) market, and communications and other gear to the Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) market.

About the Role

As MRO & International Financial Business Partner , you will report to the Noble Corporate Controller and be a key member of the MRO & International Division’s leadership team. You will be a business partner to the Division President and will work closely with business unit and functional team leaders across the company. Your focus will include improving financial performance through effective management of financial operations and risk management. A key part of your mission will be to deliver complete and accurate financial information that can be relied on to help drive impactful financial decisions. Our management teams appreciate our insight and trust us to help them solve difficult problems. We are looking for a leader who will help implement processes to support Noble's growth and is enthusiastic about promoting strong business partner relationships. This role will develop close relationships with other Finance functional areas, IT, operations, sales, and supply chain teams. You will participate in business and strategic initiatives. You’ll ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies and be a hands-on leader handling accounting, data analysis, reporting and business and financial planning.

You will:

  • Serve as an expert on accounting matters, partnering with other departments on structuring policies and advising with respect to financial implications.
  • Be responsible for the production and integrity of divisional financials in accordance with US GAAP and special lender reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate current financial management practices and policies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial transactions and reporting and related processes.
  • Partner with the IT team to leverage technology to improve efficiency in business and financial processes.
  • Develop positive relationships across the organization with the goal of being a trusted business advisor.
  • Keep communication lines open with the business to ensure effective partnership and involvement of the finance team in business strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Oversee accounting, control and reporting functions including division general ledger accounting, A/P, A/R, revenue, and COGS accounting.
  • Partner with and co-develop process improvements working with FP&A, Treasury, Data, and IT teams.

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a prior Controller, financial management or public accounting role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting; MBA a plus; CPA preferred.
  • Experience using and improving ERP systems (NetSuite used).
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
  • Ability to lead a team through change.
  • Ability to design and implement process improvements.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and customer orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal) and partnership skills.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.
