LayOut/Machine Operator Job at F.W. Webb
F.W. Webb, New England’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a 2nd Shift LayOut/Machine Operator for its Canton, MA location.
Responsibilities:
· Must be able to work 2nd shift
· Operator will perform Layout and Sawing operations in the pipe shop,
· Ensuring all priorities are done on time
· Use of hand tools / air tools and other machinery
· Successful candidate should possess general math skills and strong follow through skills.
· Ensure all quality standard are meet
· Prior metal fabrication experience preferred with basic math skills.
Qualifications:
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to multi-task priorities
· Must possess a high level of customer service
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Must adhere to all safety standards, ability to lift 50lbs
· Understanding of reading of measurements and drawing/sketches preferred
· 1 plus year of shop experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
