We are a small law firm and we are looking for someone who wants an interesting and challenging job where they can make a difference in the lives of families while learning and growing. Preferred candidates should be personable, extremely detail oriented, able to multi-task, and have excellent phone and organizational skills. You are likely to be the first contact with the families and your social skills will be critical to success.
As attention to detail is a critical skill for this role, candidates will be asked to demonstrate that they have strong attention to details skills.
This role has a wide range of duties that include, but are not limited to, greeting clients, providing paperwork to clients, answering the phones, taking messages and drafting memoranda. Additional duties include opening, updating, and closing case files, coordinating appointments and schedules, planning home visits, gathering records, scanning documents, filing documents with a variety of court systems and other duties as directed. This is a role where responsibilities can expand as you master skills over time.
Preference given to candidates who have obtained a paralegal certification
Work hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute break for lunch each day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)
