- Bundles patient personal clothing by name and building for delivery to a ward.
- Updates patient name cards on a rolodex file by using gains and loss sheet.
- Sorts a variety of patient garments into clothing wheels by a patient name tag.
- Clothing items not having a name tag are pulled and remarked by machine.
- Sets the thermo-press marking machine by the use of levelers.
- Maintains handwritten tags of patient names.
- Places tags alphabetically and by ward on clothing wheels.
- Checks and tags items as specials or miscellaneous.
- Maintain production counts.
- Maintains cleanliness of the area and the clothing wheels.
- Reports any unsafe equipment or conditions to supervisor.
- Inspects and folds patient clothing.
- Places uniforms on hangers.
- Assures baskets are cleaned before transporting clean linens.
- On occasion, assists on the laundry trucks for soiled pick up and clean delivery.
- Assists in folding patients' personal clothing.
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 7:AM-3:30AM-M-F.
Physical Requirements: Incumbent is required to pull, push, lift, carry, bend, stoop, walk and stand in the performance of their daily duties.
Working Conditions: Incumbent is required to work in hot, humid, cold, drafty conditions while performing their assigned duties. Floor surfaces may be wet and slippery during inclement weather conditions.
