• $50.00 a week allowance towards benefits or extra on check on the First F that Benefits get taken out of .

Schedule and Pay:

• 8 hour shift (Full-Time)
• Monday to Friday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Starting Pay $15.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• receive a $50 weekly allowance to help offset the cost of benefits. These additional allowance payments are paid consistent with the payroll schedule

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Qualifications

• Experience with commercial/residential grounds keeping preferred but not required. On the job training available.
• Experience with various landscaping equipment preferred, but not required. On the job training available.
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Mow, edge, trim, and blow, around buildings, roadsides, sidewalks, etc.
• Landscape projects such as shrubbery trimming or removal, thinning-out and/or removal of plants, weeds and leaves.
• Debris pick-up and removal
• Sod installation or planting duties as needed
• Perform other various landscaping tasks as directed by supervisor(s).
• Walk areas and remove anything that presents a safety or damage hazard for equipment.
• Clean and maintain all equipment, trailers and vehicles. .
• Evaluate equipment problems and report them to mechanics and supervisor(s)
• Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and use the proper personal protection equipment
• Attend all safety meetings
• Aid with other positions and/or departments as needed.
• Perform other tasks when requested by superintendents or managers.
• Help in emergencies as needed.
• Perform flagging duties as needed for safety

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma/GED, or equivalent

Certifications or Licenses Requirements

• Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving history preferred.
