Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a regular full-time Landscape Designer to work a hybrid schedule based out of our downtown Tempe, Arizona office.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the production, coordination, and preparation of landscape architectural design documents and construction documents for a wide variety of projects, including urban/civic spaces, educational/civic facilities, restoration areas, parks, trails, and natural areas, and streets/highways.
Position Requires:
- Ability to play an integral role in design solutions and prepare 2-D and 3-D illustrative graphics for project stakeholder presentations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting (i.e., batch plotting, layer states, xref file management) and has experience preparing design development and construction documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Delivers outstanding team and client communications via email, in-person & phone.
- Proficiency in current design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop).
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, willing to expand the knowledge base and problem-solve on a wide range of projects.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Exemptions from vaccination may be considered for medical reasons or for a sincerely held religious belief.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Land FX software
- Proficient in REVIT software
- Strong written communication for preparing reports and developing design narratives
- Technical knowledge of site and landscape elements, including local plants and sustainable best practices (i.e. low impact development).
Compensation:
This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between $58,240 to $68,640 annually, depending on experience and education.
