CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Incumbent is responsible for performing routine labor functions in the Parks Maintenance Division.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Non-standard, rotating shift work to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; to be scheduled no more than 29 hours per week. Incumbent works outdoors and is exposed to extreme temperatures.
The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience in any of the following areas: buildings, grounds, turf, ball fields, landscaping, light or heavy construction, operation of light or heavy equipment and tools. They would be familiar with normal construction safety procedures and practices and would have experience in working outside during inclement weather, summer heat and winter cold. Good customer service and communication skills are a must.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.) and one (1) year of experience performing duties related to area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Arizona Driver's License of appropriate class.
