Horizon House is Pennsylvania’s oldest psychiatric rehabilitation agency. Currently, we are seeking a Full-Time Laborer to work in our Behavioral Health Services Division. The qualified candidate will provide support in the facility with lifting, moving and storing items, setting up office and conference room spaces, and other help as needed. The individual will be responsible for checking all three appointment books for the list of meetings scheduled daily, setting up conference rooms (IE: table set up, audio and visual needs, etc.). They will also be responsible for assisting the security office and office manager with general office tasks.

Some of the responsibilities include the following:

  • Providing support in the facility with lifting, moving and storing items, setting up office and conference room spaces and other help as needed.
  • Checking all three appointment books for the list of meetings scheduled daily.
  • Setting up conference rooms by the requested style configuration.
  • Setting up audio and visual (POLYCOMS AND SCREENS) for conference rooms when needed.
  • Setting up cubicles with partitions, chairs, waste and recycle cans and keys. Sometimes file cabinets for manager’s office.
  • Cleaning tables and chairs in the conference rooms.
  • Reconfiguring the EAC for parties and special events.
  • Picking up moving boxes with office supplies and take items to mail/supply room for sorting.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; or any combination of experience education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
  • Prior office experience, helpful.


Scope:

  • Standing, sitting, stooping, manual dexterity, talking, listening, lifting, and carrying.
  • This position however, is designed for flexible accommodation to meet individual restrictions identified by the employee's physician.
