Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including personnel management, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate laboratory services and facilitate seamless patient care.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking necessary supplies and reagents.

• Monitor and evaluate laboratory performance metrics, implementing process improvements as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) by a recognized certifying agency.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, instrumentation, and quality control protocols.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficient in laboratory information systems and other relevant software applications.
