Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing laboratory services to meet the needs of patients as ordered by the medical staff and performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices
- Direct, supervise and coordinate functions and activities in the Laboratory Department
- Responsible for the performance of laboratory procedures, including Point of Care, on blood, urine and other sources using both automated and manual methods for the reporting of Laboratory results
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required. Master's degree preferred
- Licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist under NYS Dept of Education required
- Proven managerial skills required
- Minimum 6 years experience required
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills essential. Strong organizational skills required.
- Computer experience desirable.
- Must have sufficient previous clinical laboratory experience as a Technologist.
- Weekend and holidays as scheduled
