Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry Design Position Description

This is a full time position Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Bath and Kitchen Designer you will be responsible for the following:

- Building business while working closely with a sales team

- Working with trade professionals and their clients, to design and quote Kitchen and Bath projects

- Designing kitchens, bathrooms, bars, entertainment systems etc. using 20/20 software- Quoting and managing the full cycle ordering process for all kitchen and bath projects from inception to completion

- Maintaining pricing and merchandising for the Kitchen and Bath department- Assisting a sales team with gaining knowledge of Kitchen and Bath products

- Create Sales Packets for all In Stock Cabinet Orders for processing (correct name, address, contacts)- Contact Clients to confirm assembly and delivery schedules

- Schedule Pulls, Assembly and Deliveries

- Verify with client day before delivery or pick up- Meet / Exceed Sales Goals (Sales Bonus!)

- Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Desired 1-3 years of kitchen design and sales experience

- Desired experience creating designs with 20/20 software- Portfolio demonstrating design skills and ability to use 20/20 software a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Ability to communicate professionally with staff & customers in a courteous, tactful & concise manner- Eagerness to learn, grow, and improve skills

Specific Responsibilities:

• Meet one on one with clients to assess what the scope of their project is and help suggest appropriate materials within client budgets and lead times.
• Assist clients in selecting stone, tile, countertop materials and related products for their projects.
• Attend regular on site product training sessions.
• Over time, demonstrate product knowledge of in stock and special order materials.
• Perform regular transactions including, providing quotes for clients in a timely manner, excellent follow up to your clients.
• Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients
• Meet / exceed monthly sales goals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior sales experience desired
• Must work well in a team environment
• High School Diploma required
• Quick Books experience desired but not required
• Strong communication and follow up skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and anticipate client's needs.
• Problem solving skills a must.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Pay Structure Hourly Pay $26 - $30+ based on experience plus Monthly Sales Bonuses

This full time position works Tuesday - Saturday.

Weekdays 7:00 am - 3:30 pm *

Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm *

* These work hours may change as the showroom will eventually resume a 7:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule as the pandemic effects on person to person interactions lessen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
