Kristen and Dean Scott are owners of The Celtic Tea Shoppe, a store in San Jose, CA. They are currently preparing for the Dickens Christmas Faire which opens November 17. They are in immediate need of people to assist them in packaging and labeling their baked goods and candies for the festival. In addition, candidate will get incoming orders ready for shipment and help keep the kitchen organized.
Responsibilities
- Assemble packaging materials
- Package cakes and candies for sale
- Coordinate and ready orders for shipment
- Clean kitchen equipment as necessary
Skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced kitchen
- Take direction and once understood, work on their own to complete the task
- Manual dexterity is necessary to assemble materials and package products
General hours of production are Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30, but hours can vary, depending on the ebb and flow of the work schedule, or festival prep.
This is a temporary position through the winter holidays, with the possibility for a permanent position after December. Of note: We will not ask you to work beyond the hours posted in this listing, unless it’s an unusual situation. We respect a work/life balance for everyone. Position is available immediately
Experience:

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
