Jr. Automation Test Engineer with Python ( SDET , SQL , QA ) - Remote Job at CVS Health
As a Jr. Automation Test Engineer, at CVS Health in our "Analytics & Behavior Change" group, you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of the Data Forecast Mart and Computation Engine applications. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that Underwriting Transformation Products are delivered of high quality and on time.
Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.

Maximum: 120,000

What you will be doing:
- Participating in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation.
- Understanding the software design documents and create test cases
- Executing test cases and validate results, meet deadlines, and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution.
- Responsible for collaborating with IT during requirements and QA testing, defect reporting and resolution prior to sign-off to UAT testing
- Automating QA TCs by utilizing existing framework or contributing to a new one.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of experience in development of test strategy, test schedule, estimates, detailed test cases and execution to ensure adequate test. coverage for projects following iterative agile/scrum methodologies.
- 1+ Year of experience in automating functional and regression test scenarios.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL queries is a must.
- 2+ years of experience in QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality assurance experience of finance applications. Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management a plus.
- Experience with Azure Databricks.
- Experience with Continuous Integration Environment (e.g., Jenkins, GIT)
- Experience with CI/CD
- Strong experience with backend testing and automation
