JATSO SO/CSO aircrew members will provide a customer-focused airborne training environment for Tactical System Operator (TSO) Mission Qualification Training (MQT) and Continuation Training (CT) including mission planning, mission pre-briefs, sortie execution and debrief and post-mission documentation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct classroom, ground and airborne training to assist in the production of qualified TSOs.
• Conduct mission briefs, execute sorties and participate in debriefs/post mission documentation.
• Facilitate integrated flight and ground training in support of the TSO training mission.
• Ability to serve as a JATSO platform SME for planning functions.
• MSO's shall have experience with sensor platform or like system to support all weather and night operations with an emphasis on international experience in imminent danger zones.
• Conduct monthly operations and training updates.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

• Full motion video (FMV) sensor operator with tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operational flight experience and the following conditions are met prior to start of performance:
• Must have 500 total flight hours
• Must have 100 hours experience as a qualified electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor operator.
• Must possess or be able to obtain FAA Class II flight physical or military equivalent
• Strong background in ISR
• Experience in a military flight training capacity where student evaluation, mentoring and coaching was required is highly desired
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience supporting advanced flight training, working as part of a training team and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and integrate with a ground-based training team
• A current Secret clearance is required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• A current TS clearance with an investigation date that would support immediate SCI eligibility is desired.
• New hires / Candidates will undergo a civil and criminal background check and initial drug screening program. Random drug screening during employment is required.
• Special Note: The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
