Thunderbird Metals is looking for a full time first shift janitor or out Elk Grove Village facility. This person will be responsible for maintaining the facility ensuring it is clean for all visitors and staff.

Thunderbird is a drug and smoke free work environment and promotes a safe work place.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

· Sweep and mop floors daily, plant, hallway and breakroom

· Clean machines

· Clean and sanitize water fountains, commodes, urinals, and sinks daily in all restrooms, replenish soap, towels and tissues daily

· Wipe tables in conference rooms, break area, and outside tables daily

· Empty trash containers throughout the plant and office, install new liners daily as needed

· Vacuum carpet weekly or as needed

· Clean mirrors, glass doors in hallway, lobby, break areas, offices, and fixtures daily

· Clean counters and microwave daily

· Clean refrigerators weekly

· Replenish supplies as needed

· Wipe partitions weekly

· Paint floors, walls and guardrails as needed

Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Requirements:

· Able to stoop, bend, reach and lift adhering to all safety procedures

· Able to be self motivated, working independently

· Able to lift, move, and maneuver power cleaning equipment up to 50 pounds safely

· Able to stand and walk long periods of time

· Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions

Education / Training Required:

High school diploma / GED

Work Environment:

· Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

· The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
