Andrew Residence is a residential mental health treatment and nursing facility. Our multi-disciplinary teams serve adults experiencing mental illness and co-occurring disorders. We offer evidence based, collaborative and trauma-informed treatment services that align with an individual’s personal goals and needs. In addition to our mental health programming, we provide a broad range of physical health care services by our 24 hour nursing team. Andrew is for those who do not need psychiatric hospitalization and are working to achieve success living independently..

We are looking for a reliable and responsible professional to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate should be someone with prior experience in long term care, excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for the maintenance and care of our facility.

Shift: Mon - Fri 1:00pm - 8:00pm [.8FTE]

Responsibilities:

• completes assigned janitorial responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies:
• clean and service restrooms;
• sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairways;
• gather and dispose of rubbish and waste materials;
• complete rounds of grounds/building at regular intervals inspecting doors, windows, and locks to ensure operability;
• observe appearance and condition of premises and equipment and report needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring outside vendor services;
• dust items such as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, and window sills
• scrub, sanitize, and buff floors;
• wash walls, ceilings, wood work, windows, mirrors
• assist in cleaning grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris;
• assist with loading and unloading supplies, furniture and equipment
• replace light bulbs;
• shampoo carpets;
• assist with grounds maintenance including removal of snow from sidewalks, salting walkways, mowing small areas of grass, trimming shrubs, etc.;
• respond appropriately to emergencies, hazardous conditions
• seek-out and participate in appropriate continuing education.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.80 - $19.20 per hour
