Position Summary
The IT Specialist will maintain and improve the technical systems of the company including setting up, managing and troubleshooting computer and software networks, as well as overseeing security and efficiency of systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for managing the inventory of PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals, distributing to new users, upgrading or changing out hardware as needed
- Provide application level support, installs, configures, upgrades, troubleshoots and maintains software and hardware
- Set up new users, security rights, information storage and archival needs
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form, explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to staff and third party vendors
- Resolve and document assigned service desk tickets in a timely manner that meets customer’s needs
- Track data and communications used on the network
- Review diagnostics and assess functionality and efficiency of systems
- Monitor security and company compliance
- Research and identify needed innovations including inventory and E-commerce systems
- Be on-call and work seasonal hours.
A degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience- 2 years relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and problem solving skills, ability to collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization and initiative and self-direction
- Familiarity with retail operation preferred
- Experience using Google and Microsoft Office suites
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and process improvement skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skill
- Be on-call and work seasonal hours.

- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
