SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

• Responsible for the functionality and integrity of the Enterprise’s technology resources in accordance with the MIS policies and procedures established by the Enterprise.

SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES

• Provide hardware and software support to end users, including training and problem solving assistance.
• Maintain the day-to-day functionality and integrity of workstation and server hardware and the associated peripherals.
• Manage Enterprise software packages to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery.
• Communicates with management, users, and team members to resolve issues.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices, including, but not limited to, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Support Shoretel phone system; including configuring, troubleshooting, deploying, and maintaining PBX, switches, and telephones.
• Analyze and monitor hardware, software, and procedures to maintain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure performance and stability of hardware and applications.
• Record all requests and incidents in help desk ticketing software.
• Assist planning and implementing expansion of systems as demand grows.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the MIS Manager.

PREREQUISITES

General:

• Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a “Key” Tribal Gaming License.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible with work hours, including occasional after-hours emergencies.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and superior customer service skills required.

Education:

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required. Suitable MIS related degree (associate degree or higher) required, with one or more industry standard certification such as Microsoft MCSA, CompTIA A+, Net+, or Sec+ preferred.
• Additional experience may be considered in place of the education requirements.
• $22.37 to $36.49 DOE

Experience:

• Two years of network system support/IT support experience including Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite required.
• Previous experience with VMware, Extreme Networks, Windows Server, MS Exchange, and/or Aristocrat Oasis preferred.

Physical:

• Visual acuity; hand and finger dexterity; repetitive motions; sitting for long periods working on a keyboard; reaching; bending and lifting 40 pounds.
