Summary
Mellon is seeing an IT Project Manager reporting to the Information Technology (“IT”) Director. The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing technology projects and their cost, time, and scope, project planning, communications, allocating tasks and setting milestones.
The IT Project Manager collaborates closely with a diverse and talented team of experts across the IT staff, colleagues, and stakeholders across the Foundation. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business is essential.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
- Create & manage project plans
- Define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress
- Align project objectives with company goals, and make sure project team is clear on objectives
- Deliver and install technology solutions
- Help project team with design and development tasks
- Lead process of issue identification and resolution
- Manage risk tracking process
- Monitor and manage scope
- Manage all documentation
- Work multiple projects simultaneously
- Foster Partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- Three or more years project management experience in IT
- ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred. PMP certification required
- Detail-oriented
- Thrives in collaborative environment
- Good communications skills, with customer, team, and stakeholders
- Business & IT strategy experience
- Customer-focused mindset
- Knowledge of related software tools
Mellon Foundation is committed to providing compensation that is competitive and equitable within the philanthropic sector. The estimated salary range for this role is $140,000-$175,000. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, unique skills, credentials or experience that is expected to impact the candidate’s contribution to the role. We will also consider market data as well as the Foundation’s internal pay equity framework. Mellon offers a generous total reward package that provides base salary as well as a comprehensive benefits program.
