Job Summary
Northwood Hospitality is looking for an engaging and motivated independent thinker to help drive the next steps in our hospitality systems. This person will help support our existing systems while identifying ways to streamline our system platforms to create efficiency on the part of our properties.
Job Duties
- Provide leadership of and support for all hospitality-related systems
- Assist with business case analysis
- Implement and support new and current applications; troubleshoot and resolve application functionality-related issues in a timely manner; and identify modifications needed in existing applications
- Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology
- Responsible for system administration to include maintenance, upgrades, audits, and other technical support-related inquiries, including business intelligence applications, Property Management Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Delphi, along with a variety of other systems
- Manage projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of engagement.
- Assist business partners with system updates, transitions, and modifications
- Deliver quality hospitality system solutions to the business by understanding end-user needs and performing quality testing prior to rollout
- Creating training processes and documentation to teaching others how to use new systems; Assist with developing a database of training resources/tools
- Identify opportunities that can improve the efficiency of systems and related business processes and provide advice on and assist in the selection, design, justification, implementation, and use of systems
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for all proposed upgrades.
- Analyze data and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions
- Maintain confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network
- Create, maintain, and enhance various weekly and monthly financial and operational metrics and reports on the results
- Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
- Provides detailed data analysis and is responsible for providing efficient, rapid, accurate, and complete responses to routine and ad hoc requests by compiling data and being able to share results learned
- Other duties as necessary
Salary Range
- $85K - $90K

Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Knowledge/Proficiency of ProfitSword, Birchstreet, Opera, Micros, Delphi, ADP
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other current financial, accounting, and visualization software preferred
- Strong data analytical skills
- Experience within the hospitality environment preferred
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant field
- Prior experience as a systems analyst or in a similar position

Physical Requirements
