About the Role:

The IT Infrastructure Project Leader will be responsible for developing project plans and executing those plans to upgrade data center hardware and software, with a focus on security-driven initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for EDR, vulnerability scanning, backup and recovery, and other cybersecurity measures. The selected individual will work with the IT Director, Infrastructure Manager, and Service Desk Manager to refresh cybersecurity strategies and action plans achieve intended goals. Primary Responsibilities:

• Define project plans and execute projects to upgrade data center and network HW and SW
• Conduct threat and risk analysis, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend risk mitigation actions
• Evaluate potential infrastructure investments. Create proposals. Install, configure, test and implement approved HW and SW.
• Define security policies and test for compliance
• Define backup and DR plans. Perform routine drills to verify recoverability.
• Maintain cybersecurity metrics.
• Act as a security evangelist, promoting security best practices in the infrastructure and network, as well as desktop, on prem apps and cloud apps.
• Organize and administer team member cybersecurity education.
• Maintain awareness of active cyber threats and raise teammates awareness to required urgent actions.
• Define cyber security incident response protocols and lead team through response if necessary.

The Right Candidate:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and (or) equivalent relevant experience.
• 5 -10 years of progressive experience in developing and maintaining large scale data centers and networks supporting multiple sites.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and technical aptitude to quickly build relationships and facilitate involvement of others to deliver solutions.
• Advanced understanding of networks, servers, Windows OS, large scale applications, firewalls, and Azure as well as practical experience in these areas
• In-depth understanding of vulnerabilities and security best practices
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills - the ability to seamlessly translate IT in to business terms
• The motivation, adaptability, and professional qualities to work and manage projects in a decentralized work environment.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and forensics skills
• Ability to work successfully in both individual and team settings
