As an IT Associate, you will support the VP – Technology implementing directives and helping to drive the company’s success.
Responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
- Responding to help desk and support tickets in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting and analysis of hardware/software systems to help identify and resolve problems.
- Serve as a responsible member of the Technology Team by providing technical support, escalating issues when necessary.
- Assist in Maintaining and Tracking all IT inventory.
- Assist in the onboarding of new users (including creating accounts)
- Generate / Modify IT documentation, for all processes and procedures, for technical as well as non-technical associates to execute.
- Assist on IT Projects, such as new hardware/software installations, updates to existing software applications and decommissioning of old hardware / software.
- Respond to business-critical emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Prior knowledge of troubleshooting on desktop computers and laptops, including all peripheral devices.
- Ability to demonstrate clear and concise verbal and written communication with various team members.
- Experience maintaining Help Desk Ticketing Systems and tracking of IT Inventory Assets preferred but not required.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task, follow written and verbal directions, and adapt and stay calm under pressure.
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to handle break/fix IT issues as well as small projects.
- Experience with networking hardware and software.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and one year experience in IT support.
Preferred:
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
