Job Description:
The Family Services & Behavioral Health Info Systems Branch (FSBHISB) within the Division of Social Services Systems (DSSS) is seeking an IT Application Tester who can provide functional and technical in-depth testing for a large-scale IT system. The selected candidate will work under deadlines, must be capable of handling a large workload, and must be able to work independently with only general direction. The selected candidate must have knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), experience in DevOps, writing User Stories, and Microsoft products. Knowledge of DCBS policies or experience with the TWIST application is preferred, but not required.
The Tester will be a member of a team who will be responsible for:
- Writing test plans and testing critical Foster and Adoption applications
- Working with TWIST Business Analysts to review User Requirements
- Documenting defects and collaborate with a team to ensure fixes have been applied correctly
- Execute regression tests, functional tests, and data tests
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Functional testing: 1 year (Preferred)
