iptiQ Compliance, Assistant Vice President (Hybrid Work Model) Job at iptiQ
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage the Compliance activities for iptiQ US distribution businesses. This is an Assistant Vice President level role reporting directly to the Head of Compliance iptiQ US.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting delivery of the iptiQ Americas Compliance strategy by contributing to the development and implementation of Annual Compliance Plans within the business
- Developing and ensuring appropriate implementation of a robust risk-based Compliance Program for the agency business model including maintenance of Compliance Risk frameworks in coordination with Group Compliance
- Provide timely, practical high-quality compliance advice across the business value chain
- Support the development of compliant products, services and propositions in close interaction with business functions
- Providing guidance on oversight of agents, distributors and outsourced service providers as part of the oversight framework and conducting specific compliance oversight as required
- Providing relevant reporting to regulatory authorities, as appropriate
About the Team
iptiQ Compliance is multi-jurisdictional team supporting EMEA, APAC and US businesses and we continue to grow as our business expands. The teams are responsible for Compliance matters relating to iptiQ. The team spirit is based on trust, ease of interaction and fun! We value continuous development and new opportunities.
About You
- Compliance professional with 5+ years' experience in the individual consumer Life insurance market (preferably with experience in an agency environment)
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to Data Protection, Conduct and Sales Practice Risk, Fraud Risk and Complaints Handling in respect of consumer retail insurance products
- Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic and changing matrix environment
- Take initiative, manage projects and assignment effectively and drive results
- Qualifications in Compliance or Risk management subjects preferred,
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and work in cross functional teams
- Experience in state and federal (if applicable) legislative and regulatory analysis, monitoring, tracking and research. Experience with Regulatory Change Management a plus
- Have a winning attitude and operate with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and close gaps

For Armonk the estimated base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $114,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
