Magnolia State Security Solutions LLC continues to grow and we need more technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years IP Video, CCTV and Access Control installation experience in a commercial environment. (However, we will train a technician who has the drive to learn a new trade.)

Must be able to communicate with leadership during the installation process and status of the job, schedule changes, delays, systems testing, maintain and submit accurate paperwork and documentation. Walk job sites and provide job estimates as requested. Install and integrate of mag locks and access control panels. Proficient in IP video and access control to include Exaxqvision, Salient Systems, LenelS2.

IP Video and Access Control Technician will ensure new and existing access control systems are installed and maintained in accordance with federal, state and local codes and standards. Helps with general maintenance in facilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education
• High School diploma or state-recognized GED
• Minimum Work Experience
• 2+ years of CCTV, IP Video, and Access Control installation experience in a commercial environment.
• Required Licenses/Certifications
• State of Mississippi Security License (Not required but a plus)
• Valid Mississippi Driver’s License
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Familiar with mag locks, door strikes, card readers, IP cameras, and other devices.
• Install and integrate of mag locks and access control panels.
• Mount panels, field devices, computers, power supplies.
• Able to communicate with leadership during the installation process and status of the job, schedule changes, delays, systems testing.
• Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions
• Good people skills to effectively work with many parties.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Must be able to travel 1-2 overnights (might go weeks without travel)
• Must be able to pass a background check through the state of Mississippi

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
