ELIGIBILITY FOR INVINCIBLE TRAINEE PROGRAM:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) at our Animation office in North Hollywood, California. We are unable to sponsor work visas for this program.
• Must have less than 12 months of professional experience working in Animation roles.

About the role:
Our Design team works to plan, visualize, and design the visual world of Invincible, including all the characters, backgrounds, colors, props, and effects for upcoming seasons of our show. In this paid, 4-month role you will join a working Color Design team alongside our Background Designers / Painters.

The Design track is focused on Color and Background Designs. You will assist the team that creates designs and palettes, and may be asked to render and export materials in Blender, and other tasks needed to produce materials for locations, characters, and effects.

A Design Trainee who can excel at Skybound will have:

• Excellent illustration and design fundamentals, including knowledge of anatomy, perspective, and composition.
• Strong sense of color, lighting, and environments, and an interest in background design and paint.
• Experience navigating and using Blender and Photoshop.
• Strong time and asset management skills, and ability to make decisions and complete work on a deadline.
• Fundamental openness to feedback, learning, and mentoring.
