Inventory Clerk Job Description
1st Shift M-F 8A-4:30p
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to: manage the inventory control system; maintain product data; pull product orders; rectify miscalculations; report findings to management; and make recommendations for improvement, as necessary.
General Responsibilities:
- Pull Product orders according to paper work and issue materials in a computerized system
- Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Report any stock issues to management and complete product orders as necessary.
- Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products.
- Create workorders for our make to stock parts for machining, Fab, and rework.
- Crosstrain to assist with Shipping and Receiving as needed.
Required Skills / Skill Levels:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills.
- Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed.
- Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction.
Additional Desired Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience in inventory control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge in ERP software.
