Inventory Specialist Job at ProFrac
General Overview: The Operations Inventory Specialist’s primary accountability will be the development and management of an integrated business management process enabling focus, alignment, and synchronization along all supply and demand functions internally and externally. Inventory specialists can expect to work with associated documentation, complete tasks alone and in teams and report to and advise company management.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking inventory maintenance in an ERP system
- Resolve goods receipts disputes
- Resolve invoicing disputes
- Collaborate with AP team to resolve payables issues
- Develop working relationships with District Locations to resolve material issues
- Develop working relationships with suppliers to improve the flow of material processes
- Maintain collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing Demand Planning, Inventory Control, Distribution Center, Procurement and Logistics
- Report to management and advise on process improvements
- Assist in maintaining Supplier Lead-time accuracy
- Create efficiency via IT systems used. Create consistency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and prior planning experience or 2-5 years of oil & gas or related industry experience.
- Must possess a strong analytical and reasoning ability.
- Work with and effectively communicate with all levels of the company and suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point & Microsoft Project.
- Experience using ERP system for procurement processes, as well as MRP.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.

- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
- Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication. Dependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilities.
